Rained out but showed true Spirit!
"The Folsom Prison Gang" played for our monthly outdoor Concert in the Park series unitl Mother Nature decided to loose with a good old fashioned Mountain thunderstorm. They were only able to play about 3 songs before being rained out, however it was their jovial spirit in adversity and their entertianment of the few people waiting out the storm in the shelter with us that has made it easy to consider them for future events.

The Folsom Prison Gang is a five piece Johnny Cash tribute band located in North Carolina and is regarded as America's leading Johnny Cash tribute band. The band was formed in 2007 and primarily performs live shows at festivals, fairs, theater and other specialty type venues around the South East and East Coast. While the Folsom Prison Gang doesn%u2019t promote themselves as an impersonation act, they are heavily influenced by the styles present during the early years of Johnny Cash generally keep the song arrangements somewhat true to the originals (they do spice it up a bit).
In 2011 the band released their first album titled %u201CCash Only%u201D that is a collection of 10 of their favorite Johnny Cash songs covered in their own style. It is available on iTunes, Amazon and several other online music stores.

The Folsom Prison Gang is fully capable of providing a complete solution that includes a full sound system and lighting. Our sound system is large enough to handle most indoor and outdoor venues.
When the band is only providing backline we require 12 channels on the mixing board (4 drums, keyboard, bass, 2 guitar, 4 vocals). Compression on the vocals is appreciated but not required.
