I've seen Lawrence perform at previous events and couldn't wait to have him at a gathering of my own. I was amazed as I watched grown adults giggle and laugh like children. Influences
While in the sixth grade, in Columbus Ohio, one day the teacher packed us kids into the multi-purpose room to see The Royal Linchtenstein Circus, a curious and unusual show that consisted of one rather strange old guy, calliope music, and a monkey that walked the tightrope. In utter amazement, with eyes as wide as saucers, I soaked in every second of that performance. In all my years of education, nothing made as much sense to me as that elementary school show. As soon as I was able, I ran away to join the big top, and in my own way, have been there ever since.
