Rooted deeply in the tradition of hot-swinging jazz, the Thomas Gunther Trio (piano, bass and drums) thrills its audiences with sophisticated arrangements of unforgettable songs performed with great dynamic, following in the footsteps of the great Nat King Cole, Oscar Peterson and alike.
The musicians are nationally and internationally active professionals that have toured with such greats like Ray Charles, Buddy DeFranco, Tommy Dorsey etc.
The band, occasionally, adds Deborah Powell and/or Paul Marinaro (two of Chicago's finest jazz vocalists), saxophone or a horn section.
