I was a guest at a Xmas party last month in Castle Hill, San Antonio and had the opportunity to hear Sharon's performance. She honored all of my song requests, including "How Great Thou Art". Her improvisation of this song, as well as many others was beautiful and well done. I also heard her own compositions, which were superb.

Very Impressed!!
We had our company Xmas Party at the Dominium tonight and they had a Pianist for entertainment. She played all of my favorites and had such a variety of different styles?? of songs. She stayed through our partyn till it was over, which was great.

About
Sharon began her musical career at the age of nine in St Louis, attending formal private piano lessons until she was thirteen. At fourteen, she moved to Laredo, Texas and began her career as a private Piano instructor. Sharon also performed for several events in Laredo and was a regular pianist for the local theater. She also was the keyboard player for a touring band in the early 80's before attending college in Austin. The band was a regular part of the Coastal bend music scene. At age 20, she began college at UT Austin where she earned a double major in Music and Pharmacy.She has performed in McAllen and Corpus Christi at several fundraisers as well as local hotels and restaurants.She moved to Austin and quickly became known in the progressive Austin music scene during the late 80's and 90's.Sharon performed nightly at the wyndam(Omni) Lobby bar for several years while also attending UT of Texas.. Other venues include Barton Creek Country Club, Green Pasteur’s Restaurant, Driskill,Marriott and Four Seasons Hotel, as well as private social events. Sharon loves to perform and is extremely versatile leaving the audience always wanting more!,. Her repertoire is extensive, containing many different musical genres. These include Rag, Classical, Pop, .Ambient, Honky Tonk, Boogie Woogie, R and B, Adult Contemporary, Country, Jazz, Fusion, Freestyle Jazz, Rock.Soul,Top 40, Oldies Honky Tonk, to name a few! .Her influences include Jely Roll Morton, Liberache, Elton John, Art Tatum, Lux Lewis,Marcia Ball to name a few. She is member of several musician organizations throughout the United States. She presently resides in San Antonio, Texas where she performs. She is also the Director of North Central Piano Academy, and teaches private piano lessons for all ages and levels.a She is well known for her songwriting abilities and has had several of her works published.

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 500 minutes
Audience and clients can expect music performed from all eras and every style and genre guareteed to please everyone's taste. The sets are mixed to keep audience interest. For example: 1. slow pop 2. Blues, 3 Jazz, 4 classical 5. Boogie woogie 6 ambient torch. 7 country. 6 gospel 7 Stride or ragtime. 8rock and roll . I also have added some great solos, improvisations, free style additions for added listening pleasure! Audiences I have played for have always joined in on the music and make requests and often singa long to the music. I always am asked to play beyond the allotted time and am very open and glad to do this. ionsI also perform for weddings and receptions often and am experienced in performing for this type of venue. I aslo have a portable digital keyboard for venues without pianos or outdoor parties. There is a modest fee for setup. I have recieved numerous positive client and guests feedback for my past performances and can make these available for you if needed.. I also can " audition" for you at my home prior to contract agreements are made. This is a free service.by appointment at my home.
