Why hire Roger Humphrey?
I am a classical guitarist. I play solo and in a duo with a flutist. I play all of the standard wedding music, background music for dinner or cocktails, and many other special events. I've performed for major corporations, leading politicians, various community organizations, and individuals. I've played in large banquet halls, churches, private clubs/halls, and homes. I often play outside in parks, backyards, patios, lakeside, and many,many gazebos. The music is gentle and non-intrusive. You can have a conversation with your friends or just listen to beautiful music and enjoy the moment.
About
I've been teaching guitar for over 40 years and performing for weddings, receptions, and various other special events since 1974. I've written two Guitar Method Books, music for advertising, composed music for film (including two award-winning documentaries) and have two CDs available on iTunes. Although I'm primarily a classical guitarist, I often perform solo guitar arrangements of popular songs requested by my clients.
