About

Stephen has over 30 years experience in Latin American and Ballroom Dancing, as a Competitor, Performer and a Teacher. He has competed at the highest Professional level including the British, UK and International Open Professional Championships. Stephen is a former Singapore International Champion, Hong Kong International finalist and was placed 3rd at the UK Closed Championships. He has won numerous competitions within the United Kingdom, Asia and Australia, and is now a competing Professional for the USA.

He coaches all levels of dancers from Beginners to International competitors, singles, social dancers and wedding dance couples. He is also qualified with the IDTA and UKA Professional bodies in Latin and Ballroom to teach and adjudicate competitions and has performed internationally in all styles of dance including Latin, Ballroom, Tango and Salsa. His notable performances include famous venues such as the Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony, Trafalgar Square and performances for International dignitaries including the Ambassadors of Slovakia and Great Britain.

Stephen is originally from Brisbane, Australia, where he first trained for many years in Latin and Ballroom dance. Now, after spending a further 6 years in London training with the top coaches in the world, he currently resides in Orange County, USA, and is pleased to be able to pass on his knowledge and experience to dancers of all ages and levels, in all styles. He and his beautiful partner, Angel, are available for teaching and performing shows in all styles of dance including Latin, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Mambo, Swing and Ballroom.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 2 - 15 minutes

Choreographed Dancing Shows, Dancing Tricks, Variety of different dances and styles, Variety of costumes and music, Interaction with the audience, optional audience dance instruction and audience participation.

Set/Song/Sequence List:
We can perform any number of dances from 1 to 5, with or without costume changes, depending upon the client's requirements. Each dance lasts roughly 2 minutes, so total choreographed dance time can be up to 10 minutes approximately. Also, optional audience dance instruction and additional freestyle dancing available upon request. dances can be consecutively or with breaks in between depending upon the schedule of the event.
