Abby La Mexicana

Thank you Abby for performing during my baby shower, we had a great time.. loved the songs and your talent. The limbo dance was a hit. Can’t wait to book you again for our next big event.

My team and I had the privilege of contracting Abby La Mexicana for the first ever Downtown Kitchener Dia de Muertos event.

Abby demonstrated excellent communication and professionalism leading up to the event. She inquired about details that would affect her performance with good time prior to the event, was open minded and flexible with the potential format of the event, and showed a genuine sense of interest in the event itself.

On the day of the event, Abby was very punctual and was set up and ready to begin at the time previously established.

As for her performance… We had Abby scheduled for one hour, and that hour, was absolutely incredible! With this having been the first of a potential annual event in Downtown Kitchener, our team felt the pressure of leaving a positive lasting impression on the public, and as soon as Abby’s music began to play, we knew that everything was going to be excellent.

Apart from being a very talented vocalist, Abby’s showmanship was far beyond our expectations. Abby arrived in Dia de Muerto (Catrina) attire, sang, danced, interacted with the audience, engaged with the audience in English and Spanish, and created an overall inclusive and welcoming environment; At one point, Abby began a conga-type line, and I witnessed individuals who I personally know as being quite timid, singing and dancing along.

Needless to say, we most definitely recommend Abby for any event that you may be hosting. We will certainly be keeping Abby in mind for future event and feel absolutely proud to say that she was the first performer of our first ever Dia de Muertos event. 10/10.

Dear Abby, I can’t thank you enough for making my father and husband’s birthday so special with your amazing performance. You made everyone engage with your great choice of songs. My family was in awe we hadn’t danced in so long it was a night to remember thanks to you. You are an incredible peformer and your voice is so beautiful. Well be seeing you again soon.
