Asala has been performing professionally since 2007, traveling nationally and internationally to share her passion for dance. She is skilled in a range of classical and folkloric dances from North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and South Asia, as well as Latin ballroom dance and swing dance. Her bellydance shows can incorporate the use of veil, fan veils, cane, sword, drum solo dance/drum balance, fire (candelabra), etc. You will be guaranteed an authentic, dynamic, and engaging performance as Asala is one of the DC area's most sought-after entertainers.

August 6, 2025Fabulous booking experience and dancer was simply wonderful.
We were so pleased with the dancer Asala--such a true professional and quite talented, plus she was very good at gently asking men and women to dance with her, which pleased the audience members who were closely watching and applauding when a guest joined her for just a few minutes. We highly recommend Asala--especially for an audience of retired folks who don't get to see entertainment like a great belly dancer very often.

Asala was just the perfect mix of fun entertainment and professionalism. Most of my guests enjoyed the show with enthusiasm. And when she was rudely interrupted by 1 guest she handled the altercation with dignity and grace. And I applaud her for that. We can’t wait to see her perform again some time.
