Shaquia Skillern, im a 24 year old, I attend Trident International University for graduate school, where I will pursue a master's in finance an completion of this program will be July 2012. Im a mentor for youth in Orangeburg Sc, an I concentrate on middle, highschool an college students. I perform skits about peer pressure, teen pregnancy, bullying, cool kids vs popular kids, outkast, military an transferred students.

All my influences are personal encounters that I have actually experienced or been put through. I use skits that some of my friends encountered.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 45 - 90 minutes
I like to get my audience involved more then anything, so you can expect me to call up students react scenarios that they have been placed in with peer pressure, activities with bullying. I also mentor for those who would like to stay after the session to do one on ones.
Stage/Setup Requirements:
Tables, chairs, microphone, plastic bottles, a board
Additional Notes:
I prefer a stage, however im there for the cause so lighting an all of props are not a,necessity im trying to save someones life.

My set just consist of chairs an a table..props not needed.
