About

Speaker | Wellness Educator | Longevity Strategist | Founder of Blood 120

Dexter V. Kennedy is a powerful voice in the health and wellness space, dedicated to helping individuals reverse the effects of aging, reclaim their energy, and live longer, stronger, and with greater purpose. With over 50 years of experience in martial arts, physical training, and holistic wellness, Dexter speaks from a deep well of lived knowledge—offering more than inspiration, but practical transformation.

He is the creator of the signature keynote, “The Benjamin Button Effect: How to Age Backwards Using Longevity Principles,” a captivating and science-based presentation that equips audiences with the tools to take charge of their aging process. In this talk and his two complementary presentations—“The Metabolic Reset: How to Burn Fat, Build Strength, and Boost Energy After 40” and “Faith, Focus & Fitness: A Spirit-Led Approach to Reclaiming Your Health”—Dexter blends modern longevity science with mindset, movement, and faith-based principles. The result is a message that’s holistic, empowering, and deeply relatable.

Dexter’s journey is one of discipline, resilience, and service. As a U.S. Army veteran, he served as a unit-level health leader, ran the military’s overweight program, and became a V Corps Flyweight Boxing Champion in Europe. His training in Emergency Medical Sciences and decades of physical conditioning laid the groundwork for what would become his lifelong mission: helping people live well from the inside out.

A 5th-degree black belt and inductee into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame, Dexter understands the connection between physical discipline and personal longevity. His martial arts background informs his training philosophy—centered on strength, endurance, and balance—and shapes his dynamic stage presence as a speaker.

Dexter is also the founder of Blood 120: LifeSource for Healthy Living, a 12-week wellness and nutrition program originally developed for his church community. The program has helped participants reduce medications, improve mobility, and gain life-changing awareness of their personal health habits. Through Blood 120, Dexter integrates Biblical principles, metabolic science, and practical lifestyle coaching into a proven framework for transformation.

In every talk, Dexter brings his authentic voice and a passion for helping others succeed—whether on the stage, in workshops, or through community outreach. He speaks to a wide range of audiences including churches, corporate wellness events, longevity conferences, health ministries, and fitness professionals looking to engage midlife and older adults.

He has been a featured consultant, community coach, and wellness teacher with firsthand success stories from attendees who’ve reversed chronic fatigue, lost weight, and regained their physical confidence thanks to his guidance. And while he holds no formal medical license, his results-driven, integrity-based approach has earned him the trust of faith leaders, families, and fitness seekers alike.

Dexter lives and teaches by one core truth: aging is not a sentence—it’s a choice. And with the right mindset, movement, and mission, anyone can defy decline and step boldly into their best years.

Influences and inspiration

“My work is influenced by a diverse group of experts who’ve shaped my approach to wellness, longevity, and spirit-led living. From a nutritional standpoint, I draw from Dr. Peter D’Adamo’s groundbreaking work on blood type–specific nutrition, which laid the foundation for my Blood 120 program. I’m also guided by Dr. Gabrielle Lyon’s muscle-centric health model, Dr. Peter Attia’s focus on optimizing healthspan, Dr. Bill Laymon’s holistic longevity principles, and Ben Azadi’s work on metabolic flexibility and fasting. Spiritually, I’ve been deeply impacted by Dr. Myles Munroe, whose teachings on leadership and life purpose help me speak not just to health—but to destiny. Together, these influences allow me to deliver talks that are practical, evidence-based, and purpose-driven.”
