Dr JR Green has been our keynote speaker on several occasions. His passion for education in SC shines through his speaking and motivates everyone to take action. It is not easy to impress a group of two hundred accountants with words. Yet, Dr. J.R. Green did it with a phenomenal message about advocacy! He served as a keynote speaker to the South Carolina Association of School Business Officials statewide conference. Even though his message was directed towards finance professionals, one of our out-of-state vendors said he inspired her to be more of an advocate for education in her state.
A repeat customer is a satisfied customer. Three years after Dr. Green’s keynote address, my association asked him to speak again. He moved the audience again with a charge to be more effective leaders. In the years since his first presentation, many of my colleagues remarked how much they enjoyed and remembered his messages. He has made such an impression that some of them said that they would love to work for him! I have attended nearly 40 of our statewide conferences. Dr. Green is one of three people that has been asked to speak again.
