The orchestra features its own original compositions, with a new CD currently playing on the radio and sold online & at retail stores! Their unique style includes original salsa music written in Spanish as well as in English. In fact, Fiesta has been known to perform an entire “Salsa Show” in English, much to the delight of Salsa enthusiasts who love to dance to the music but who may not always understand its lyrics. In addition, these recording artists alternate between a male and a female lead vocalist to keep its audiences eager and fresh for more! These artists perform authentic Latin Music!
About
The backbone of this orchestra is their bandleader, lead singer and composer, Jorge Laureano who has been involved in all aspects of this industry for over 20 years. His vision to have a Bi-lingual musical concept also included having a female vocalist who could hold her own. He discovered talented Lee Malavet fifteen years ago while she performed with another band and the two have been working together on stage ever
since!
Their musical journey has taken them to numerous gigs throughout the New York Metropolitan area, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey and now Florida!
In the North-East, these talented entertainers performed at many of the city’s major nightclubs as well as the college circuit. Some of the institutions have included Hofstra University, Pace, Lehman College, Rutgers University, PENN State (five times) and many more! Corporate affairs, festivals and weddings were among some of the other venues where Fiesta performed.
Since arriving to Florida, Fiesta has been embraced by numerous transplanted new yorkers and floridians who enjoy their NY Salsa style, which is considered the signature of this group! In Tampa, Fiesta entertained 1,700 fans and supporters who came to dance during the Grand Opening of the Green Iguana nightclub “Latin Thursdays”. The response was so overwhelming that the management immediately secured an engagement for Fiesta to perform at their New Year’s Eve celebration, which was also a great success! As they did up north, the group has also performed in concert as the featured attraction at most of the known Hispanic festivals in the Tampa Bay area, such as Vinoy Park, Pinellas Park and the popular “Salsafest” in Tampa.
In Orlando, Fiesta was the featured musical group at the Orlando “Salsa Congress”, known as the most prestigious Salsa venue in the state! Fiesta delighted hundreds of dancers who came to enjoy their show! Other venues where Fiesta has performed include the Renaissance Resort Hotel, The Portofino Resort Hotel at Universal Studios and most recently they performed for the McDonald’s Restaurant Owners European Convention and at the Medina Festival.
As an orchestra, Fiesta includes a select group of veteran musicians with extensive musical backgrounds, led by a Latin Grammy award winning pianist, a bassist who is well respected as a producer/arranger and several other skillful individuals who complement the entire group. In 2004, Fiesta launched a CD, which received critical acclaim by several industry leading magazines. It was selected as the editor’s pick by online Latin music stores and some of its singles did appear on “Top Ten” chart listings throughout the US, Europe and Japan! Without any doubt, Fiesta is one of the most versatile and talented recording artists in the industry...
In 2011, FIESTA is featuring its latest musical production entitled..."Me Esta Gustando/I'm Liking It" featuring more High Energy Salsa in Spanish and English... much to the delight of their fans and supporters! The CD is currently playing on the radio and being sold online and at retail stores!

Depending on the venue, FIESTA provides a different performance to accommodate each audience. For nightclubs, festivals and concerts, the band concentrates on High Energy music from start to finish! For weddings and corporate events, the band prepares a show unique to each client. All its shows feature Salsa music performed by two vocalists, a male and a female lead singer who alternate singing to bring variety within the same group.
