Since 1994 El Grupo Chevere has provided high quality professional live musical entertainment for Corporate events, Galas, Weddings, Clubs, Private Parties, Anniversaries, Festivals and events in and outside of Boston, MA. Grupo Chevere has 7 to 11 musicians, with a Latin Groove that will get any party started with its popular Salsas, Merengues, Bachata and Cumbias.
Featuring these instruments: Piano, Congas, Bongos, Timbales, Tambora, Guira, Saxophone, Trumpets, Bass guitar and synthesizer. We have performed 30 years throughout Mass. and have had tours in S Falls, S. Dakota, N. Dakota, O. Nebraska, N. Orleans, Ct, N.H. and Prov. R.I. (Headphones recommended for videos).

The go to band!

The band was amazing, and their songs were on point! We requested old-school merengue, salsa, and some bachata. They provided continuous entertainment, and the guests danced the whole night! Great energy awesome group of people!

We can also provide our own PA Sound System with all backline amps and accessories to perform professionally.

About

El Grupo Chevere was established in 1994 with all local Boston Latin Musicians and has grown in the past 30 years with a great reputation. Originally started by Wilberto Ortiz R.I.P and Willie Colon. After Wilberto's passing, Willie Colon from Boston decided to continue with El Grupo Chevere and has now become one of the most popular bands in Massachusetts. Willie Colon continues to bring Salsa, Merengues, Bachatas and Cumbias for the public with it's variety of singers being Male or Female. There is a natural mix of musicians that makes the talent from this band very exciting to dance too. Most songs are all covers and requested by the public at our events and the list of music available has grown significantly. The Musicians are from Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Santo Domingo, and Colombia. This mixed talent gives it that original Latin groove from all parts of the Caribbean that people look for. We hope to perform at one of your events, give us an opportunity and we won't let you down, I guarantee it !!!
