5 Ways to Woo Your Date on Valentine’s Day

By JoAnna Carpentier

Love is in the air and Valentine’s Day is on the horizon! Whether it’s your first Valentine’s Day with that special someone or your fiftieth, it’s a great day to celebrate your love by doing something special for your other half. Here are just a few romantic ways to woo your date on Valentine’s Day…

Send a Singing Telegram

Cupid isn’t the only one who has to work on Valentine’s Day! Most businesses carry on as usual on V-Day, so chances are, your date has to work. Sure, you could send flowers. But, if you want to stand out and do something extra special, send them a Singing Telegram instead! Do you have a song? Most Singing Telegrams take requests and will even work with you to fit your Valentine’s name into the song. If your date has a celebrity crush, consider sending an Impersonator. Let Marilyn Monroe sing “Happy Valentine’s Day, Mr. President”, or send President Obama with an urgent message in the form of a Valentine’s Day card. Get creative!

Treat Them to an Intimate Dinner

If you aren’t much of a cook, but want a romantic night in with your love, hire a Personal Chef to whip up their favorite dish. Set the scene with romantic lighting, a beautifully decorated table, and lots of candles! You could even hire a live musician, like a Violinist or a Guitarist, to set the mood. If you need a hand with decorating, enlist the help of an Event Decorator to turn your home into a romantic, 5-star restaurant.

Dance the Night Away

Does your significant other love to dance and you’ve got two left feet? Show them how much you care by setting up private Dance Lessons. Learning to dance together is tons of fun and will bring you closer together as a couple. And since it’s in private, you don’t have to worry about being embarrassed when you accidentally step on their feet. Once you’ve got the moves down, take your Valentine out for a night of dancing! You’ll make all of the other couples jealous with your professionally choreographed steps– and the best part is, nobody has to know that you just learned! It’ll be our little secret.

Capture the Moment

You two look good together! Share your love by getting professional photos taken and sending them to your family and friends. Whether you want an on-location photo shoot or you have a special surprise planned and want to hire a Photographer or Videographer to capture it all on camera, we’ve got what you need to make lasting memories.

Take a Moonlit Ride

Treat your Valentine like royalty with a ride for two on a Horse-Drawn Carriage. Take the scenic route, cuddle up with a blanket, and enjoy the sights. Carriage rides make for an unforgettable surprise. Normally, we wouldn’t tell you to lie to your Valentine, but in this case, we think it’s okay. Make a dinner reservation for 8, tell them it’s at 7, and even the hungriest of Valentines will forgive you for lying when you come pick them up in a horse-drawn carriage.

Do I need to schedule a personal burlesque performance or are the performance available to the public with a ticket purchase? And when are any scheduled burlesque performances?

    • Tessie Barnett December 14, 2016

Hi Bradley! It actually depends on where you’re located. We can help you find out that information though! If you do a search for Burlesque Entertainment on, you’ll find your local performers listed. You can send them a message from their profile to ask about public performances or get a quote for a performance at your own event. If you need any help getting in touch with an entertainer, feel free to give us a call at 417-889-9909. We’re always happy to help!
