I have hired this group to present one of the Museum's Holiday Musicales since 2006, and the number of presentations speak to our pleasure and privilege to hear their magical sounds resonating from the walls of this Victorian-style house museum. However, our visitors and participants in the singalong which they graciously allow, also speak to their enormous appeal, for several of our return visitors have said, "It is not Christmas unless we hear these folks in the museum!" And they have written that in support of grants that I have written to enable this continuing offering here in the Bayless-Selby House Museum. Words? Glorious! Magical! Wonderful! Heart-wrenching! Surprisingly fresh tones for the old favorites! Y'all come back! We love you.

Thank you, Robyn. For those who have not seen our Bayless-Selby House Museum Holiday Musicale show, we are dressed in Victorian outfits, and play Victorian Christmas carols on flutes, recorders and cello. We provide a songbook for audience sing-along. We also provide information about the Christmas carols (history, interesting information about the composers and/or poets). It is always an interesting show in a beautiful restored Victorian home.

Adaptable and flexible, Ensemble Pro Musica consists of either a trio (2 flutes & cello) or a duet (flute & cello) playing classical music. We have over 30 years experience in live music for weddings, receptions, concert venues, corporate parties and Christmas sing-alongs. With a repetoire including classical (i.e. Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, etc.), ragtime, love songs, church music, and Renaissance music, we can provide from 30 minutes to 4 hours of continuous live music for your event.
All members of Ensemble Pro Musica have university degrees in either Music Performance or Music Education, and are professional musicians.
