Why hire David Stone: The Johnny Cash Experience?

"DAVID STONE: The Johnny Cash Experience" is a Broadway quality tribute show that plays predominantly to a new generation of fans too young to have known the real thing in its zenith. Like the original BEATLEMANIA, the music and history of the legend is conveyed with dignity. We feature note-for-note authenticity, authentic costumes and instruments, and June Carter.

Concert VenueWhat a great show! Not only was the music wonderful, but I also enjoyed the commentary between songs. The concert was at the White Clay Creek State Park, and had been rained out of its original date. The people clamored to reschedule the show, for good reason. I would definitely see The Johnny Cash Experience again.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 120 minutes

Welcome to our show, DAVID STONE: The Johnny Cash Experience!

We cover early Johnny Cash, Johnny Cash & June Carter, and the Folsom Prison Concert era. We are note-for-note authentic, complete with authentic costumes and instruments, and doing for Johnny Cash what BEATLEMANIA has done for the Beatles -- offer an experience as close to the real thing as possible, for audiences who never got a chance to see it. We are a Broadway quality show, presented with dignity, and without cheap impersonation.

On request of the State of California, our show played a commemorative concert at San Quentin State Prison on February 24, 2009, 40 years to the day of Johnny Cash’s historic performance at that facility. We are the only Johnny Cash Tribute Show in the world that has ever played to one of Johnny Cash’s notorious prison audiences, recording a live album in the process.

We offer a full band show, a "Johnny & June Duet" show, and a "Johnny Cash Un-Plugged" Show.

Repeated sellouts and packed houses can't be wrong. I'd like to invite you to our website: www.maninblackshow.com. Feel free to listen to our sound clips, view our changing video selections, and visit our reviews section to see what people are saying about us.

If our record of performance attendance and our reviews are any indication, our show would be a great success for you. Call 484-358-6873.
