Danny D's Tribute to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin

BEWARE: TAKES FULL AMOUNT IF YOU CANCEL!!!

Hired Danny D 3 months in advance (May 25th for a July 28th event). Said he was taking deposit on the phone. Discovered he took the entire amount of $500. Red flag. But I let it go. Then we decided we didn't want the full 4 hours of Sinatra, so I told him I wanted just 2, but he said he does only a minimum of 4. Well as you can see on this website, it says $200 and up. So another flag was raised. He also wasn't quick to respond when questioning him on the deposit issue and less than cordial when I asked to change it to 2 hours. So my gut told me something was wrong. I didn't want to work with someone who was unethical so I tried to cancel today (50 days prior to engagement) and he said no refunds, only reschedule upon his availablilty. He didn't tell me this in writing or on the phone when I hired him. EXTREMELY UNETHICAL!!! So here I am out $500 - - can you believe it?!? I am in shock! I could see if it were days before the event, but 50 days notice, come on! Do not hire this man if there is a chance you may have to cancel your event, or otherwise, NOT an honest person.
