About

Bedora Noire is an improvisational artist. She has been Belly Dancing since 2003 and performing since 2006. She has performed all over Ohio, in Indiana and in Michigan. She has taught at Arts Place, Kira’s Oasis and currently teaches private lessons and classes at A2ZClubfittness.
Bedora strives for intricate hip work and precise musical interpretation. She has studied both Cabaret and Tribal Style Belly Dance and considers herself to be a fusion dancer. She tries to strike a balance between the rich history of Oriental dance and the modern take on the matter.
Costuming is another passion of hers. Her costume designs are heavily influenced by Burlesque, the Flapper era and the San Francisco Tribal Fusion scene. Bedora studies Middle Eastern music, is an experimental instrumentalist and plays banjo in the band Coat Hanger Halos.
