Crystal

Crystal Denise Jones is a spoken word artist from Augusta, GA. She is a member of Glenn Hills High School Class of 1992. She attended University of West Georgia after graduating high school. In 1997, she graduated from West Georgia with a (link hidden). in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Welfare. She served the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) as a case manager through various non-profit and state agencies. After 13 years, she started her graduate school studies in Social Work at the University of South Carolina-Columbia. She graduated from USC in May 2013 with a Master Social Work degree. She is currently holding a master level social work license in Georgia and South Carolina.
On stage and to the population she serves, she is known as Ms. Crystal. Ms. Crystal started performing at a very early age in church by reciting bible verses, commercials and acting in play. Ms. Crystal released her first single, “Forever Cocky”, on October 11, 2019. Her poems, “My Dilemma” and “Time”, were published in Namaste Ink this year.
