Bollywood and Bhangra
Overview
I am a middle eastern style belly dancer. I do both arabic and egyptian styles, with fusion (i.e...latin, modern fused with the classic styles) Bollywood is also a dance styles that I do. I am a belly dance instructor at the Village Racquet and Health Club-Biltmore location, am a member of Black Opal Dance Company and The Alexandria Dancers. I am an AFAA certified instructor in group fitness, AFAA certified Zumba instructor, Osteoball trainer, chair dancing instructor, certified Silver Sneakers Instructor and teach at several retirement resorts. I have appeared in SoScottsdale Health magazine-Nov. 2009, and in the July-August, 2010 issue of Phoenix Woman Magazine.

About
My name is Amira and I am a middle eastern style belly dancer. I fuse classical arabic or egyptian styles with a latin, modern, ballet or other forms of dance. I make use of the veil, zils, fan, flutter fans, fan veil and Isis wings. My style is very feminine, fluid and family friendly and I 'feel' the music to make my dance unique. I dance Bollywood as well.
Additional booking notes
Have a sound system that plays CD's or uses a flash drive. Or, the CD/flash drive can be downloaded into a computer system. The music must be played loud enough that I can hear it ifI am moving among guests, or the stage or dance area is large.
