About
I've been studying Piano and theory for almost 20 years. This includes formal Classical and Jazz training (including sight-reading and improvisation), but I have experience playing contemporary music, in pit orchestras & other ensembles, and accompanying as well.

At the University of Delaware, I was active in several Jazz Ensembles. I studied with Tom Palmer and had the opportunity to share the stage with Jeff Coffin and Roger Ingram, to name a few. I was also the Musical Director and Lead Arranger for Deltones A-Cappella, and a member (bass II) of the internationally-renowned University of Delaware Chorale under the direction of Paul Head.
As a composer (and conductor), I focus on the college and professional levels, but I have experience working with High School Choirs as well. In addition to arranging music for a-cappella groups, I've had several of my original works performed by solo artists and choirs in the area; please contact me for samples and rates. I'm always looking to make new connections with and learn from choir directors and other composers!
I am currently pursuing an MFA in Musical Theater Writing at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.

I LOVE to play, so you'll see me smiling, first of all. I take requests and enjoy interacting with the crowd. I'm also happy to be 'wallpaper' if the performance requires.
