Regional pricing for Jazz Pianists

Bobby West performed for an intimate gathering of about forty guests, and I'm still hearing about it. The room was a mix of devoted jazz aficionados alongside people who simply love great live music, and Bobby had all of them. His playing is deeply sophisticated and masterful, but never cold or showy. It's warm and emotionally alive in a way that draws you in whether you know jazz or just know what you like. Throughout the evening guests kept turning to each other to say how beautiful it was, how perfectly it fit the moment. He also wove in R&B alongside the jazz. What struck me beyond the talent was how well he read the room. During dinner we needed elegant background music that didn't compete with conversation. Early in the evening the music needed to be more of a presence. Bobby understood that without being asked, and shifted accordingly. That's a real skill, and not everyone has it. Afterward, guests sought him out to say so--including the serious jazz listeners in the crowd, who were genuinely impressed by his artistry and originality. That's saying something. He was also a complete professional and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. If you're looking for a world-class pianist who can elevate an event and leave a real impression, I can't recommend Bobby West highly enough. He made me look good.
