Overview
Zach is a dynamic communicator of the Gospel of Jesus. He has spent 20 years in ministry as well as 4 years as a Naval Officer. Zach founded Bigtime Ministries in Birmingham, AL that has discipled hundreds of students while partnering with churches and parents. Zach has also traveled the country as a retreat and event speaker. He loves the power and riches of the Word of God. Zach also spent 13 years as a middle school football and basketball coach. Zach is passionate about awakening students to their God-given gifts and unique identity as well as their role in the mission of God.

Zach has served as retreat pastor for several youth and children's retreats. He is energetic and fun; relates well to teens and kids; encourages adult sponsors, too!
His Bible teaching is solid and engaging! He comes prepared.

About
I grew up in Nashville,TN where I went on to graduate from Vanderbilt University. I then served as a Naval Officer working alongside the Marines, Special Warfare, and the Coast Guard during my 4 years of service. After the Navy, I studied towards a Masters of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School (Samford University).
In 2003, I began coaching football, basketball, and tennis in the Mountain Brook School System. In 2006, I founded a para-church ministry, Bigtime Ministries, to evangelize and disciple middle school and high school students through bible studies and retreats. I served as the Executive Director from 2006 until 2016. I have also served on staff at churches in TN, VA, and AL. I have also traveled as a speaker for many years serving churches and organizations as a speaker and camp pastor.
My wife, Haley and I have been married almost 2 years and are blessed to be parents of a two month old daughter named Sawyer. When I'm not working or hanging with my family, I spend some time hiking, traveling, watching movies, exploring history, and playing golf.
