Overview

Middle & high school is HARD. 13 years as a camp counselor, and 4 years as a middle school small group leader. Teenagers are not scary aliens, no matter how many people tell me.

In 2013 my husband proposed to me so that we could tell my mom that we were getting married before she passed away. I have battled with depression, peer pressure, and trying to fit in. I had always wanted someone that could help break down the bible for me that I could relate to. It is my goal to be someone that teens can look to when they are trying to understand the pros and cons of creating an orb of influence around them.

About

My name is Megan Simpson and I LOVE teenagers and Jesus.

I chose Marketing in college because my sister Emily chose Marketing. Originally, I wanted to be a doctor, and that calling lasted until I received a big fat D in Chemistry Freshman year at Villanova and decided to kick it with the cool kids in the business building.

More times than I can count I have been told, "If I could bottle your energy, I would be a millionaire!" In 2010 the company I worked for hired a consultant to bring us through the DISC assessment. My results were "twin tower DI" which is how I was described. The consultant asked me how in the world I was working in an office every day. It took me a decade to identify how to bottle my energy and spread it to others in the form of Keynotes and speaking to youth.

The desire to help high school and middle school students is strong and is a common theme throughout my stories. I am a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem for children in the foster care system. I represent the children's voices in court and provide context with the only goal to protect and advocate for children. I was a camp counselor for middle & high school students for 13 years. I am now a small group leader for 8th graders and continue to find ways to connect with teens in my community.

As a keynote speaker, my goal is to bring the energy to a meeting, conference, retreat, or workshop that gets people thinking about how they can grow deeper in a relationship with Jesus.

After 16 years of building a career in marketing, I realized that my true passion is presenting, leading a team, creating authentic culture, and the smiles that come from the audience when speaking. From my days at Brooks teaching biomechanics, to workshops with the franchisees at Fleet Feet, to company-wide virtual meetings at O2 Fitness—my energy tank overflows on a stage, with a mic in my hand.

I would be honored to work with you and present to your organization.
