Yoga with Ms. Brandon

A Yoga Party will include creative yoga movement, breathing practices, games, music, mindfulness practice and relaxation with a visualization. An art and craft project is also included in the Yoga Party and can relate to the theme. Depending on the theme in the party, all of the above can be incorporated into a the parties activities. Common themes include:

Star Wars
Nature
Under the Sea
Fairy Princess
Superheros

All props, materials and mats are included in the Yoga Practice. Lavender towels will be provided during relaxation time.

Brandon Hudson, RCYT, E-RYT-200, MAT, is a yoga teacher, children’s yoga teacher, a trained yoga therapist and a lead trainer in Children's "Grow with Yoga" Teacher Training. She works with both children and adults. Brandon holds a Master's degree in Special Education, is a highly qualified educator, and has 15+ years' experience working with children and children with special needs. Brandon has been studying and practicing yoga since 2000, while earning her B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She completed her 200 hour yoga certification through Black Mountain Yoga in 2014 were she is now part of the teaching staff. Brandon has been able to connect with children even at a young age. Her lifelong career, and passion in life, is teaching children of all ages and abilities. Brandon provides clear and consistent boundaries for children to learn and grow. She honors their space and allows the freedom to express themselves. Brandon’s playful, gentle style allows both children and adults to find a personal connection to their yoga practice. Brandon lives in Black Mountain with her husband and two Australian Cattle dogs; Belle and Hank.

A Yoga Party requires a space large enough to put 10-15 mats in a circle. Preferably a clean space with access to temperature and light changes.
