That's why on radios around the world you still hear the sounds of The Beatles, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, and so many others - almost 50 years after they first topped the charts. So, the next question is: "So, what makes this music so great?" We think the answer is easy. Great melodies. Rich harmonies. And lyrics that speak to the heart, and to the human condition. So many years later, add to that a hint of nostalgia that echoes a younger and simpler time and you have an irresistible mix of music and emotion. And that's why YESTERDAY's music matters.

No deep tracks here. We love knocking out the fun Top 40 hits of the 70s (a little 60s and 80s, too). We touch of one-hits wonders like "Play That Funky Music", "Brandy", "Dancing in the Moonlight", and "Walking on Sunshine", to name a few. But we also cover some of the greats: The Beatles, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, The Doobie Bros., Elton John, and Neil Diamond.
Based in Shelby, NC, Dee, Chandler and Greg have been playing together for several years throughout western North Carolina. Their love for music shows in every note. While they tend to concentrate on the music of the 70s, they also touch on 60s favorites by The Beatles, CCR, The Turtles, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Diamond, and Crosby, Stiils and Nash. The 80s aren't ignored either. Mixed in are hits by Bryan Adams, Sixpence None the Richer, Cyndi Lauper, The Romantics, and Katrina and the Waves. Actually, truth be told, you might hear anything!
Being a three-piece ensemble, we have a small footprint. We have our own lighting and, generally, prefer using our own sound system.
