August 12, 2020We sent them to our friend for his 50th birthday. They were fabulous. His family really enjoyed them. I spoke to them prior to the event and they were very friendly and eager to work with us to make this a great event! We booked them from New York so we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely group! Great Job Ladies. Thank you!

A cheerful bunch of enthusiastic women who love to sing in the "Barbershop" style. They love to share their brand of harmony! They love to sing traditional barbershop style songs from "Baby Mine" and "Zing went the Strings of my Heart" to "A Million Dreams (from The Greatest Showman), "Go the Distance" (from Disney's Hercules) and others that are current repertoire. WAC's current contest ballad is "I Can't Begin to Tell You." The Current contest untune is "I'm Sitting on top of the World," a bouncy delightful tune.
Wasatch A Cappella Chorus (WAC) began as the "Bountiful" Chorus in 1961. They are affiliated with Sweet Adelines International. This organization started in August of 1945. Now with over 25,000 members worldwide.
In 1989, Because of many reasons, the chorus changed their name to Mountain Jubilee. One main reason is that the members came from the Greater Salt Lake area. As far north as Ogden and as far south as Provo. Then, in May of 2023, for many reasons, we refreshed and re-branded ourselves as Wasatch A Cappella Chorus.
WAC was always a Championship chorus; winning each regional competitions that we were eligible to compete in and going to international competitions; placing as high as Fourth Place, twice. The best was getting the Audience Award in Houston with their "Letters" package.
A good lit stage with at least one mic. No piano needed as we sing a Cappella.
