Overview
Award-winning a cappella vocal band based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Using only their voices, this young group puts a fresh spin on covers of vintage chart toppers and today’s hits. Winners of the 2018 National Harmony Sweepstakes a cappella competition, Business Casual has performed at weddings, corporate events, and live public shows throughout the Bay Area since 2012.

Business Casual is amazing - professional, easy to work with, great communication, great performers, fun arrangements…. I can go on an on. I love that they already come with a large portfolio and offered to add one special sing for us - and brought and set up their own equipment. We asked them to do a Star Wars melody for our ceremony and they nailed it. Our guests did not want them to leave. They were the best part of our wedding. I am a professional event planner and would 200% hire them again.

This event had been scheduled for six months and the Whim and Rythmn Yale group cancelled last minute Friday evening. We are so happy that Business Casual could come on such short notice. They were fantastic. We will definitely be using them again.

This wonderful group provided all of our guests with a once in a lifetime experience. Surprise performance at my son's wedding of " all you need is love" was perfectly timed. All present were touched and will never forget. So much talent!

We were hosting our first all company awards gala dinner and Business Casual were brought in to be our evening’s entertainment. We had attendees flying in from all over the world so we had to choose an act who would be appreciated by all cultures and demographics. Business Casual put on a fantastic performance, they even got a crowd who are typically quite conservative singing along with them. Business Casual A Cappella were really easy to work with, self-sufficient, very well-rehearsed and our award winners and other guests really enjoyed their performances. Thanks so much!

Since 2012 the group has performed at corporate and community events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, where they are based.

In 2018, Business Casual won the title of National Champions of the Harmony Sweepstakes a cappella competition. In previous years, they won regional Harmony Sweepstakes awards including best arrangement, audience favorite, best original song, and first place overall. Business Casual has performed at corporate events and conferences including Dreamforce and Wizard World Comic Con along with community events such as the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival and San Jose Christmas in the Park. In addition to a regular schedule of private events, the group has played live public gigs at Neck of the Woods and Feinstein’s at the Nikko in San Francisco, and in 2017 opened for Naturally 7 at the Great American Music Hall. The group’s first original single, “Ain’t No Way,” was released in March 2018. Business Casual has conducted workshops with local schools, participated in collaborations with other Bay Area artists, and has served as the host group for the Varsity Vocals ICCA Western Quarterfinal events in 2018 and 2018.
