Voices United Chorus

We sing a cappella in a variety of styles. We chat a little, we can come up with a little scripted show, or just sing, or find things for you to sing along! So you guide us in what type of performance you need.

Voices United Chorus has been in Fresno since 1957.
We are a chapter in Region 11 of Sweet Adelines International. Our a cappella chorus of women sings in the barbershop style, meaning 4 part harmony with a melody surrounded by harmony above and below the melody. We are not limited to barbershop quartet style songs and have many songs in our repertoire spanning many decades, styles and genres. But we DO love some barbershop. Have you tried one of our singing telegrams? Our Birthday, Valentine, and Christmas grams have put a lot of smiles and happy tears on lots of local faces.
We love to perform in our community and are always looking for more voices to join us in the joy of singing. We carol around town, we sing for the veterans at the airport returning from honor flight, we sing the national anthem at games and special events and we put on a really fun dinner show every fall!
We prefer to perform in a group of a dozen or so, so that you hear the full sound of all the parts in harmony. But we can sing in a group as few as 4.
We have some little themed shows we can perform or create something custom for you.

We don't need much to sing. We don't need amplification if the venue and audience are small enough. Otherwise we can use a microphone and small amplification. We can bring our own if needed.
