Vivienne and Raquel

A typical Vivienne and Raquel show can include:

Crowd work
Stand up
Games
Sing-a-longs
Comedic Numbers

It’s always a contained chaos that encourages the audience to let loose and be part of the show.

We typically start with a crowd warm up on the mic and some crowd work followed by alternating numbers, games, requests and comedy.

Raquel Blake and Vivienne Fontaine are two well-known drag characters in Provincetown Massachusetts.
Raquel is a drag veteran from Dallas Texas and is the reigning “Showgirl of the Year” in Ptown. Raquel also works as the show director at the Post Office Cafe and Cabaret.
Vivienne hosts a hit weekly show, “Summer Camp”, has been featured in Provincetown Magazine as the covergirl, and is a celebrated drag actress.
Both queens perform weekly for sold out brunch crowds and entertain hundreds of people with their comedic numbers and on the mic.
Comedy and chaos always ensue at a Viv and Raquel show. Crowd work is always hilarious, requests are taken and sing-a-longs are always welcome.

Drag looks best well lit but we can make do with most lighting situations as long as we can see while we are performing.

A stage or slightly open area is nice for numbers although we are accustomed to performing in restaurants between tables and patrons.

Typically a space where we can put cocktails, mics, and props is good-somewhat of a home base. Also a place for us to touch up before the gig starts is always a plus.
