About

Diane Windingland is available for both virtual and in-person speaking and coaching through her business Virtual Speech Coach.

Diane Windingland speaks for organizations that want their people to have better, more profitable communication. She does this by providing keynotes, workshops and individual and group coaching specifically on interpersonal communication skills (active listening, answering questions, getting to the point) and on presentation skills (crafting and delivering powerful presentations with or without PowerPoint).

Diane’s programs are fun, interactive and practical. She uses pre-meeting interviews and surveys, lecture, demonstration, role-playing, hands-on exercises and the audience favorites, humor and story-telling, to create a content-rich and rewarding experience for attendees.

A few testimonials:
“Diane delivered an outstanding workshop titled “Speak with Confidence & Credibility and Speech Zero to Hero. Participants received training, practice and tools to immediately start speaking in a manner that listeners will want to hear what they have to say. I recommend this workshop for everyone who speaks in a meeting at any level, by definition this is speaking in public. Which means all of us. This training helps the person who does formal public speaking ( Lone speaker in from of a group) as well as those who speak in public informally (speaking in meetings, hallways and cubicles). Diane’s presentation style is very engaging and quickly draws each participant into the workshop. Participants walk away with confidence to speak in any situation. Tremendous Workshop!!“–Greg Sandeno, Manufacturing Specialst at Alexandria Technical and Community College

“Diane is one of the best communicators of our time. She presented to our employees and shared specific tips and insight to becoming a better speaker and presenter. Her presentation was engaging, informative, fascinating and entertaining. We all took very specific tidbits from it. Highly recommend working with Diane!!”–Chelsey Falzone, Coordinator, Community Relations at Minnesota Twins

“I had the pleasure of facilitating a webinar for Twin Cities SHRM where Diane was the presenter. She was fantastic! The participants were engaged during the webinar and had shared comments throughout. I know I came away with ways to be more confident and credible in my presentations – I’m sure others did too.”–-Angela Leigh, Human Resources Professional

Additional booking notes

Most of my presentations can be done with or without PowerPoint, but my slides will enhance the presentation (I promise no "Death by PowerPoint"). Good lighting is important, as audiences will want to see my facial expressions as I speak. I recommend that a microphone be available for audiences of about 70 or more people.

Setup requirements

laptop (or I can provide my own)

Projector (or I can provide my own for small rooms)

microphone (for audiences of more than about 70 people)
