Alex Detrick is a boutique violin soloist playing whimsical short pieces by Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Dvorak, Paganini, and other classic greats. Alex also plays modern classics like the Beatles, Billie Eilish, Louis Armstrong, Bruno Mars, Adele, The Beach Boys, and many more.
These songs are perfect for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
Alex has been playing the violin and producing events since the 1980's and will curate the perfect set of songs for your event. Or, you can request your own favorites. Just ask!
Alex went from table to table playing softly while we had our family brunch to the delight of everyone. Then we went from table to table singing Christmas songs with Alex playing, and it was a blast. My son’s comment was that on the way home he felt uplifted by the whole thing. We will do it again.

Alex began violin training at age five in 1977 with Master Suzuki Teacher, Margery V. Aber, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. When booking weddings, please state which part of the wedding you would like him to perform. Typically, wedding parts with music include the prelude, seating of the family, processional, unity candle, recessional, reception, and dinner. This is important so you don't get charged for time between songs.
