Julia Floberg is a versatile cellist, guitarist and singer. She frequently performs with her husband, Joe Peterson, who plays piano and guitar, or with violinist Aubrey Weger. Julia can provide classical music or arrangements of popular songs for your wedding, private event, or holiday party. You can book Julia as a solo performer or Julia and Joe as a duet.

We are so grateful to have had Cello Jules provide music for our wedding ceremony. As musicians, it was very important to us to have a duo that truly were good at what they do. What to expect
Amenable to your needs! Can easily play acoustic or amplified music, ranging from classical to jazz to popular covers. Happy to play outside as long as the temperature is over 50 degrees and there is no precipitation. If weather conditions might be poor, a tent or covering is requested.
Solo cello is usually played acoustic. For cello/piano, we only need access to power for the keyboard (unless a piano is provided by the space). Julia can also put together a string quartet or a small band. Additional set-up needs required for amplified groups.
About
Julia is a cellist and multi-instrumentalist from Minneapolis, MN. She has a B.A. in Music from Dartmouth College and an M.A. from Boston University. She has played with the Duluth Superior Symphony, the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra, and various churches in the Twin Cities area. She has been playing music for over 20 years across the U.S., from concert halls of 900 to listening rooms of 30. Her music has been played on Classical MPR, TPT, KFAI, and KBEK. Julia has an acoustic duet with her husband which is cello with piano or guitar. She also has a violin and cello duet. Her music is perfect for weddings, funerals, special events, and holiday parties.
