Two is Enough is an acoustic duo with more than 40 years of combined stage experience, bringing together two seasoned musicians who have performed with several well-known bands throughout the Twin Cities music scene. Vocalist Tammy Jo has also shared the stage with national artists including Kip Moore, Josh Turner, and Tracy Lawrence.
Two is Enough is designed to be a flexible, low-footprint act that can accommodate a variety of venues and event spaces.
For most performances, we can provide our own professional sound equipment and only require access to a reliable power source and an appropriate performance area. If your venue provides in-house sound, we’re happy to work with your system and sound engineer.
Our setup includes vocals and acoustic guitar, and we can adjust our overall volume and setup to fit anything from an intimate indoor gathering to a larger outdoor event.
Specific staging, sound, lighting, load-in, or other technical needs can be discussed in advance based on your venue and event. We’re experienced performers and make every effort to keep setup and coordination simple for our clients.
Our influences are as varied as our setlist! We draw inspiration from decades of great music across country, rock, pop, and Americana.
From powerhouse vocalists and great storytellers to classic rock bands and acoustic singer-songwriters, we’re influenced by artists who know how to connect with an audience and make a great song feel like their own.
You’ll hear that variety in our shows—familiar favorites, unexpected acoustic takes on songs you might not expect from a duo, and plenty of music people can sing along to. Rather than trying to sound like any one artist, we take the music we love and put our own Two is Enough spin on it.
