With nearly two decades of experience, Josh is widely recognized worldwide as the first Tupac Shakur impersonator. His work has been featured in films, on television, music videos and countless viral videos.

Josh’s background in performance runs deep. He attended the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, following a path not unlike Tupac himself, who studied at the Baltimore School for the Arts in his youth. Josh later continued his studies at Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Over the course of his career, Josh has worked on film and television projects, participated in countless reenactments, and performed at events across the country. He also had the rare opportunity to meet Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, during her lifetime, and has worked alongside individuals closely connected to Tupac’s legacy, including his bodyguard Frank Alexander, Dr. Dre and the Hughes brothers.

These experiences contribute to a portrayal grounded not only in performance, but in proximity to the history and people who shaped it.

Josh is also the founder of Hip Hop Lookalikes, a talent booking and entertainment service built around high-level tribute performances (including Snoop Dogg, Biggie Smalls, Eazy-E and others) and full-scale live shows that recreate the sound, style, and cultural impact of an era.

For performance booking Joshua usually performs over professional backing tracks. Joshua would provide these tracks to your sound technician or DJ as digital files.
