December 17, 2025This is the Man to Book Now!
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect performance for my mother’s 70th birthday celebration this December. This Neil Diamond tribute artist was absolutely outstanding and brought so much joy, energy, and nostalgia to the evening. From the very first song, he captured the spirit, sound, and heart of Neil Diamond in a way that felt both authentic and deeply personal.
His voice was spot-on, the song selection was perfect, and his connection with the audience made everyone feel included—whether they were lifelong Neil Diamond fans or just there to celebrate. He had guests singing along, smiling, and reminiscing all night long, which made the party truly unforgettable.
Most importantly, my mother was thrilled. Seeing her light up during her favorite songs was priceless, and many of our guests are still talking about how incredible the performance was. If you’re looking for a talented, professional, and engaging Neil Diamond tribute artist who will make your event truly special, look no further. Highly recommended! 🌟

Steve was an absolute professional in planning and preparing for this event. The music was outstanding and his interaction with the audience was more than I could have possibly asked for. He had everyone laughing, dancing and bouncing around in their seats. I highly recommend him. It was better than perfect. Thank you Steve. If I plan another event, you will get a call.

September 18, 2025What a special way to celebrate a special birthday!
Steve was wonderful, the whole process from start to finish was seamless and we had the best party for my mother in law's 80th birthday celebration. Steve was great at reading the room, keeping the whole party engaged and participating. But, best of all was his voice and his stage presence. He looked and sounded great. We may be booking him as Johnny Cash next time!

Steve was an absolute hit! From booking, to planning, and the gig itself, Steve was truly professional and well worth the money. Steve left my guests asking me the next day if that was really Neil.

What to expect
All of Steve Waddington's tribute shows are exciting, entertaining, and filled with fun.
During the course of a show, the audience will be delighted hearing their favorite songs, and watching this performer entertain. Steve doesn't just sing AT his audience, he sings WITH them! He has a relaxed charm, a quick wit and makes everyone feel like they are part of the event. No matter what the venue, he creates a party atmosphere.
His backup band is made up from the very best, most versatile musicians in Southern California. Even his smallest combo has a very big sound, without being overly loud. Sometimes a venue or budget restriction dictates a more streamlined event, but that's OK too! The track show…with Steve in full costume and playing the proper guitar, and the best sounding backing tracks available…is a blast and it sounds great, because Steve always brings a sound engineer to assure the best sound for the venue, enabling Steve to keep his attention focused on the audience!
About
"Dino, Diamond & Cash"
"Dino"...
Steve has it all...the mannerisms, the voice, the charming playfulness. Close your eyes, and you'd swear it was Dino singing all his hits. Open your eyes, and you won't believe how much fun you'll have watching him create the illusion of one of our most beloved icons. From solo "Dino" shows, to various "Rat Pack", "Frank & Dean", "Martin & Lewis", and vintage variety shows, Steve brings Dino to life as no other entertainer can. Now, That's Amore!!!
"Diamond"...
Steve's show, "The Feel of Neil" is about as close to the real thing as you can get! From the sequined jacket to the acoustic guitar and the voice that completely captivates, he really sounds and performs just like Neil! When he sings "Solitary Man", "Cherry Cherry", "I Am, I Said", "Holly Holy", "America", and "Sweet Caroline", on through to the sentimental favorites like "Love On The Rocks", "September Morn", and "Play Me", it makes you feel like you are in-concert with the Real Neil in his prime! Rose Diamond (Neil's mom) told Steve "You have a beautiful voice, and you sound SO much like my son!" Pretty amazing, Grace!
...& "Cash"...
Steve's "Johnny Cash" tribute show, "CASHIN' IN", is simply the best there is! With his rich, deeply resonant voice, and his tall commanding presence, he re-creates the magic of "the Man in Black". At a gig they did together, Kris Kristofferson said "You sound so much like Cash, it's scary!", and then he autographed Steve's guitar! You'll see why when you hear Steve sing everything from "I Walk the Line" to "The Man Comes Around", from "Folsom Prison" to "I Won't Back Down" and from A Boy Named Sue" to "Hurt", and many more. Wink Martindale summed it up best when he said "You don't even have to LIKE country music to LOVE Johnny Cash...and we LOVE Steve singing Johnny Cash!" Yeah, he walks the line!
A veteran of clubs, casinos, film, television and events, Steve brings the total entertainment experience to audiences world wide. He has appeared in supporting roles on TV and film, and as a solo performer. or as part of staged performance or review, Steve brings his years of professionalism and experience, as well as his amazing sense of humor and timing, to every production ensuring that audiences and cast members alike have fun and a memorable experience. The BEST!

Influences and inspiration
We posed this question to Steve, and he replied:
"Obviously Dean Martin, Neil Diamond, and Johnny Cash! But also growing up in an era of great diversity on AM radio, we would turn it on and within an hour hear the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Johnny Rivers, Dion DiMucci, Englebert, Tom Jones, Conway Twitty, Marty Robbins, Merle Haggard, Surf instrumentals, and more! And after hearing my favorites, I would buy the records and deep dive into what made those sounds so unique. That’s why you’ll notice during my tribute shows I’ll use the exact model of guitar either Johnny Cash or Neil Diamond used. A subtle touch to the most discerning ear, but also adds a touch of visual authenticity. Just another professional detail that lifts my shows above the others.”
