The Trowies are a Knoxville-based traditional Celtic music band. Our repertoire spans Scottish, Irish, and American traditional music. We are a versatile group of performers with a deep love for the music, and we work hard to customize our performance to your needs. Our performances and sound can be tailored for weddings, dinners, stage performance, house concerts, outdoor events, and private parties. Depending on your needs we can bring a small ensemble or add musicians for larger, more complex sound. The energy and sound we create will enliven whatever event you are planning and leave your guests with a very memorable experience.

I was walking past the clan tents at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games when I heard lively music coming from the Clan Cunningham tent that had drawn an appreciative crowd. I liked the music so much I stayed to listen. Their arrangements are so creative and played with such zeal that you feel like dancing, They obviously love performing their music and sharing the joy of it.
