What to expect
Expect high energy, audience participation, authentic connection, and a few moments that may challenge the way people think—in the best possible way.
Whether serving as an emcee, keynote speaker, facilitator, moderator, or workshop leader, my goal is to create an experience that is engaging, interactive, memorable, and immediately relevant to your audience.
Attendees can expect humor, storytelling, practical insights, thought-provoking questions, and opportunities to participate rather than simply sit and listen. No endless slides. No corporate buzzwords. No lectures disguised as presentations.
Clients can expect a true partner who takes the time to understand their goals, audience, culture, and desired outcomes. Every event is customized to maximize engagement, encourage meaningful conversations, and create lasting impact.
Most importantly, audiences leave energized, challenged, connected, and inspired to take action. They may even meet Guru Lou, who has a unique talent for exposing excuses, questioning assumptions, and delivering uncomfortable truths with just enough humor to keep everyone smiling.
My mission is simple: help people laugh, think, engage, grow, and ultimately find their roar.
About
Tony Emerick, MBA, is a speaker, facilitator, moderator, and self-described “Energy Amplifier” who believes most people don’t need more information—they need more awareness.
For more than 30 years, Tony has worked with executives, healthcare leaders, technology innovators, entrepreneurs, sales organizations, and frontline teams helping them navigate change, improve performance, strengthen relationships, and discover what’s possible when they challenge conventional thinking.
His career has included leadership roles with global organizations, fast-growing startups, healthcare systems, customer experience teams, and innovation programs. Along the way, he learned a simple truth: growth rarely happens inside our comfort zone.
Known for his engaging style, humor, authenticity, and willingness to ask the questions others avoid, Tony creates experiences that are equal parts insightful, interactive, and entertaining. His audiences can expect thought-provoking conversations, practical takeaways, moments of self-reflection, and the occasional uncomfortable truth delivered with a smile.
Tony is the creator of Finding Your Roar™, a program designed to help individuals and organizations identify limiting beliefs, embrace accountability, and step confidently into their potential. His portfolio also includes Brave Leadership™, Conflict to Collaboration™, The Resolution Advantage™, and other programs focused on leadership, communication, culture, innovation, and personal growth.
Attendees may also encounter Guru Lou—a humorous alter ego who specializes in challenging excuses, exposing blind spots, and saying what everyone in the room is thinking but nobody has the courage to say out loud.
Whether serving as a keynote speaker, conference emcee, panel moderator, facilitator, or workshop leader, Tony’s mission remains the same: create meaningful experiences that leave people energized, engaged, and thinking differently long after the event ends.
Because information may fill a notebook.
But awareness can change a life.
Additional booking notes
Technical requirements are intentionally simple.
I provide my own presentation computer and any digital presentation materials required for the event. Clients are responsible for providing the venue, stage (if applicable), projection/video display, sound system, microphone, internet access (if needed), and event lighting.
Preferred setup includes:
• Wireless lavalier or headset microphone
• Confidence monitor (when available)
• Projector, LED screen, or large display

• Audience seating arranged to encourage participation and engagement
I am comfortable presenting in conference rooms, ballrooms, meeting spaces, convention centers, retreat environments, and non-traditional venues. I work closely with event planners and AV teams to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
My focus is creating engagement—not creating complicated production requirements.
Influences and inspiration
My approach has been influenced by a combination of leadership thinkers, innovators, communicators, and real-world experiences. I admire individuals such as Simon Sinek, Brené Brown, Patrick Lencioni, and Frank Abagnale Jr. for their ability to challenge conventional thinking while making complex ideas accessible.
However, my greatest influence has come from working directly with leaders, teams, customers, and organizations facing real-world challenges. I’ve learned that growth often begins with conflict, accountability, honest conversations, and the courage to question assumptions.
The result is a speaking and facilitation style that blends leadership, conflict resolution, personal growth, audience engagement, humor, and a healthy dose of disruption. My goal isn’t simply to motivate people—it’s to help them see themselves, their teams, and their opportunities differently.
