Overview
Tobacco Road is a bluegrass band based in North Carolina/ Southern Virginia. Its members are veteran musicians who have spent their lives steeped in the high-lonesome sound of Appalachian tradition. The band is named in honor of the geographical and historical significance of tobacco farming in the south, not to mention the “Tobacco Road” college rivalries stretching from NC State to Wake Forest.
Whether playing a sold-out festival or an intimate back porch gathering, Tobacco Road brings the spirit of bluegrass home.
