Great service for a great price!

I used the Wandering Barrel for my event recently and was very pleased with the service. David makes a great drink and has a wonderful personality which made the experience even better. He was prompt and the service was great. Pricing was very reasonable. Would definitely use him for my next event.

Thank you for choosing us "Auntie" Samantha. Everyone seemed to be having a barrel full of laughs when I wandered around. A Huge shout out to your future "Lil" Restauranteurs, Allie and Luna. The night could not have gone smoother without Davis's sunglasses and artificial intelligence videos, oh goodness lol. But we all must admit, at the end of the night, the real MVP of the night goes to our Bartender JAY. Couldn't have done it without them. From all of us at The Barrel; welcome.

What to expect

When people see The Wandering Barrel Co. at an event, they see a real bar team that looks like it fits the space and the crowd. We arrive early, touch base with the planner or host, and set up a clean bar with menus, fresh garnishes, ice, and all the tools we need so we are ready to pour as soon as service starts. Guests are greeted with a smile, IDs are checked quietly, and we serve both signature cocktails and premium mocktails so everyone has something they are excited to drink.

From your side as the client, you get a dry hire mobile bartending crew that helps you plan the menu, build an alcohol shopping list that fits your guest count and budget, and then handles setup, service, and cleanup so you can stay with your guests instead of running the bar. Many of our drinks use small batch syrups, teas, salts, and sugars from a local farmers market partner, which gives your bar a seasonal Appalachian feel that people talk about after the party. Because those ingredients and that level of prep come with real cost, most events start at five hundred dollars, and you can see how the packages break down at (link hidden)

About

The Wandering Barrel Co. brings a full craft bar experience to wherever you are, from barns and backyards to boardrooms and ballrooms. We are a dry hire mobile bartending company serving Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, which means you supply the alcohol and we handle the rest with certified, experienced bartenders, a complete bar setup, and menus built around your guests and your budget.

We pour at weddings, corporate events, private parties, birthdays, anniversaries, and celebrations of life, always aiming for service that feels easy, organized, and relaxed for the host. A big part of what makes us different is our partnership with a local farmers market grower and artisan producer who creates small batch syrups, teas, salts, and sugars from ingredients like juniper, violet, rose, lavender, honey, and hibiscus, so your cocktails and mocktails feel seasonal, local, and a little bit Appalachian in the best way.

Additional booking notes

-We are a fully licensed and insured dry hire mobile bartending company. The host or venue provides all alcoholic beverages; we help you build an alcohol shopping list and quantities in advance.
-Level ground or flooring with enough room for the bar, back bar, and a service aisle. For one bar we recommend at least an 8 ft by 8 ft footprint.
-A covered or shaded area in case of strong sun or rain. A tent, pavilion, or existing bar space works well, and if your venue does not have cover we can discuss providing it.
-A clear path into the bar area without stairs when possible, or advance notice if there are stairs or an elevator so we can plan staff and timing.
-Nearby access to a sink or hose for handwashing and quick rinsing is preferred. If that is not available, we will talk through alternatives during planning.
-Access to the event space at least sixty to ninety minutes before bar service for setup and about forty five minutes after last call for breakdown.
-One standard 110 volt outlet within about fifty feet is helpful for bar lighting or small equipment. If power is not available, we just need to know in advance.
-Parking or loading access close to the entrance so we can unload bar equipment and supplies efficiently.
-An estimated guest count at booking and an updated count at least one week before the event, plus confirmed start and end times for bar service so we can staff correctly and keep lines short.

Influences and inspiration

One recent project we’re especially fond of was a creative cocktail development session where we experimented with floral sweeteners like rose sugar and violet syrups. Within a couple of days, we had perfected one of the best syrups we’ve ever made for a hand-stirred violet old fashioned, and it’s since become a guest favorite.
