The Victorian Historian

My name is Adam Shefts. I’m a researcher, author of several published books, and presenter of all things strange, unusual and comical related to 19th and very early 20th century American history. "The Victorian Historian" is a fun, engaging 60-minute program designed for general adult audiences. Through historical photographs, newspaper accounts, rare audio and footage, short stories, and live demonstrations (some which include audience participation), audiences will get an entertaining glimpse into the strange traditions, beliefs, entertainment, and events of America’s past.
