I'm not your normal keynote speaker, but who wants normal?

Normal is boring.

I'm a singer, songwriter, TEDx and motivational speaker, author, and youth empowerment coach, and award-winning musician on a mission to save the world one song at a time - by combining keynote speaking with original songs that focus on resilience, team-building, stepping into one's power, and the JEDI framework of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

My musical style marries the likes of Alicia Keys, Pink and Alanis Morrissette with the added presentation approaches akin to Brene Brown's power of vulnerability, Michelle Obama's inspiration, and Oprah Winfrey's motivational drive.

I am completely redefining the concept of what it means to be a presenter, musicpreneur and edutainer [educational entertainer].

With feature articles in The Washington Post, Thrive Global, and the TEDx stage: my story stands out as one that sets an example of what it really means to lead with truth, authenticity, vulnerability and grit: which is evidenced by my impact on music, youth, and her ability to turn struggles into songs aimed at making positive change and healing.

I've had a lifetime of health issues, including 10 brain surgeries and 24 total surgeries, and I'm no stranger to depression, sexual assault, abuse, and losing friends to drug addiction and suicidality.

I'm also no stranger to overcoming these demons - realizing at a young age that singing my truth is an impressively effective tool for understanding, processing and overcoming my trauma. Moreover, I have found music to be a powerful tool for connecting and empowering audiences that may also be experiencing their own, or similar, trauma. After all: we all live in a world intent on keeping us in a box: telling us who to be, how to show up, and how to act. My challenge to everyone is to recognize that you don't have to subscribe to anyone else's narrative. It's YOUR story. Don't let the world write your song. You have the pen.

I now use my music and media presence to spread messages of radical love, compassion, strength, truth and healing, as I recently expanded my music business to position myself as an author, speaker and youth empowerment coach - specifically using music and songwriting as tools to help everyone - especially teenagers - to identify, understand, and overcome their own struggles, trauma, anxiety and stress.
