Overview

Hailing from Houston, Slade Ham has performed in 60 countries on six continents - much of that for the US military. His new full-length theater special, Signal/Noise, is out now. Ham has headlined Sirius/XM’s Best of Texas as well as the feature length The Whiskey Brothers Comedy Special. His latest special looks at what is and isn’t important in our lives, and it showcases his signature storytelling style alongside clever social commentary.

Offstage, you can read Until All the Dragons Are Dead, his collection of critically acclaimed stories, or follow his adventures around the globe in Slade Runner, a travel series. His live show is what does best, however. It’s stand-up all the way down.

An Absolute Beast!!

Slade Ham's standup show is a MUST-SEE! He's a COMEDY GENIUS with clever, relatable jokes and perfect timing. His unique voice and perspective set him apart, and his stage presence is electric - confident, charismatic, and captivating. He's got a gift for storytelling and knows just when to poke fun at himself.

Slade's material is smart, witty, and covers everything from everyday observations to deeper topics. He connects with the audience and makes us feel like we're all in on the joke. You won't regret it!

About

Hailing from Houston and averaging more than 200 shows a year, SLADE HAM has performed in sixty countries on six continents. Whether in Amsterdam, Toronto, or Texas, he cuts right to the heart of what makes the audience tick.

He’s in rare air as a podcaster, having cracked 1000 episodes with The Whiskey Brothers, and currently helms the weekly Slade Ham Experiment. His book, Until All the Dragons Are Dead, is a best-selling memoir about life on tour.

He took a Comedia Award at Just for Laughs in Montreal, wrote for The African Film Critics Awards, headlined The Whiskey Brothers Special on Amazon, and produced international comedy specials for comedians Jerry Wayne Longmire and Andy Huggins.

His real passions lie on the road, however – traveling the world and collecting stories. Slade leads an average of three tours a year into the most remote sites the US military can muster.

He’s been dropped off by Blackhawk helicopter to do spontaneous sets for soldiers in the Iraqi desert and the mountains of Afghanistan. He has free-climbed mountains and been swimming with sharks. He blew out his Achilles tendon dancing to Irish music. He’s wandered Australia’s outback, been lost in Cambodian jungles, and hiked a good part of the Andes. He ran from the cops in the Philippines and was escorted through Cairo in an armored convoy.

He is anything but boring.
