Overview
As a solo ceremony vocalist, I offer a timeless, emotionally rich sound and a grounded presence. My goal as a ceremony vocalist is not to steal the moment, but to enhance it.
I provide live vocals across a wide range of styles: classical, folk, pop, jazz, musical theatre, worship, and contemporary Christian. I work closely with each couple to thoughtfully select music that reflects your relationship, your values, and the tone you want to set for your special day.
Serving Charlottesville, Richmond, Staunton, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Roanoke, and the surrounding areas.

Christina McArthy has sung at several events that we have hosted. She is both professional, courteous and talented. One of the events she sang at was my cousins wedding. It was a very last minute specific request. She was able to find and learn the song in a very limited amount of time. In addition , she slayed it! Her vocals are amazing very pure and lovely. She also sang at my mother’s funeral and was able to match the mood and bring a lovely and comforting song full of grace and sweetness.

Christina McCarthy is a classically trained professional vocalist, songwriter, and performer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Missouri State University. She is known for her warm tone, emotional sensitivity, and grounded presence, bringing both technical precision and heartfelt expression to every performance.
Her professional experience spans opera, musical theatre, and contemporary performance. She has performed with Loudoun Lyric Opera in Don Giovanni (Chorus) and H.M.S. Pinafore (Chorus), and appeared in productions such as Pirates of Penzance (Edith) and Totally Red! (Red) at Missouri State University.
In addition to her stage work, Christina is a recording artist and songwriter, with music including Stupid Beautiful Heart available on iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon Music. She has recently performed as a background vocalist with the Vienna Light Orchestra.
Christina has been singing professionally at weddings, funerals, and private events since 2019. She values approaching each event with care, intention, and respect for its emotional significance. Her background also includes many years as a worship leader, experience as a character performer for children’s events (2014–2023), and work as a private voice teacher. Across all of these settings, she has been drawn to moments where the power of music connects people to each other and to their Creator.
Whether on stage or in intimate ceremonial spaces, Christina’s purpose is rooted in serving others through her voice and offering vocals that honor the meaning of each moment.
