Big Shiny Tunes, with an over 130 song setlist filled with favorites from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10's and a few tiktok favs for the kids. Most importantly, we use a fully digital setup which allows us to play any space size and not blast you with fuzz but with ample room to turn up when the dance floor starts cookin!

November 7, 2025Awesome show by the Social Distance! Great sound, creative playlist, and energetic performance combined for a memorable evening! Band members were responsive, professional, and adaptable (even inviting one of our talented guests on stage to sing with them.) We sent the band our song preferences and they put together two fantastic set lists that had something for everyone. The show had great pace, with energy building throughout the evening - concluding with an unexpected encore! A big thank you to the Social Distance for helping cement our reputation for throwing the best parties in the neighbourhood!

We are a dynamic band with a full show, lights & fog. We can provide our own PA system and can hire larger systems and sound tech for larger events. We can also help with some basic AV if you are running some speeches or presentation that requires audio.
We require 1.5h setup time (with soundcheck) before the event where we can setup in advance or right before showtime.

The Social Distance is available in multiple formats to fit any venue:
Full Band: The complete experience — lights, energy, and all the hits.
Duo Acoustic: Perfect for smaller rooms, patios, or intimate gatherings.
Compact Full Band: Same great sound, just scaled down — featuring a strike pad drum setup ideal for tighter spaces.
And yes… we solemnly swear not to play Brown Eyed Girl.
We provide a PA that will suit most outdoor and indoor shows. Please let us know how many people you expect and the size of the venue space so we can adjust. We can also provide playlist via Bluetooth audio during breaks, and pre/post show.
We require a solid ground to play and covered shelter for outdoor events (tent must be provided). The desired space is 10x12' but we can work with slightly less and prefer more space. We can be flexible.
We also require power at the site, properly grounded we prefer 2 x 15amp circuits but can work with 1 x 20amp or even 1 x 15amp in extreme situations (might have to reduce lighting).
We also require access to a bathroom and water (standard human rights stuff).
