The Skoolies

The Skoolies released their debut album in 2022, Darker Rhymes, and most recently their EP, Don't Let Go, where they battle obsession and addiction by wrapping dysfunction in a melodic post-punk candy to make the bitter taste sweet. Their musical style has flavors of post-punk, guitar riffing, and bass-wielding mayhem that provides a fresh, lo-fi vibe inspired by bands of the 80s onward. Check out “Betrayed” for thoughts on self-inflicted loneliness and “We Were Young” for a sense of longing and forgotten youth. We are homegrown in Kent (Ohio) and play in the greater Cleveland area. The Skoolies include Topher Vonz, Pip, TJ, and Ash
