A musical performance by the Baker’s Basement is lively, curious, fun, and tender. The quirky Cleveland based duo mixes a flavorful array of rock, folk, indie, jazz, jam, and funk to create a spirited and eclectic presentation of song including both covers and originals.

Compact and adaptable, tBB combines acoustic guitar, dual vocals, and a small percussive kit, allowing them to set up in most spaces and environments. The duo’s style and instrumentation offers the intimacy of an acoustic performance but with a certain percussive edge.

In a style that they call “Indie Folk Hop,” the duo has played in a wide variety of venues and non traditional performance spaces, and welcomes the opportunity to play for any occasion, be it in a backyard or living room, theatre or restaurant, festival or fundraiser. Their song list includes original, cover, and instrumental music with performances that are typically 1-3 hours, but as long as 6 hours in length.

The Baker’s Basement formed in 2012 in Cleveland, Ohio and offers over 24 years of performance experience between its two members, Kate Dedinsky (Percussion & Vocals) and Adam Grindler (Acoustic Guitar and Vocals). All ideas about how to match your event or space to this tiny and swingin' musical experience are welcome.

The Baker’s Basement is a lively Cleveland based musical duo that mixes a delicious array of rock, folk, and indie music, topped with shades of jazz, funk, and jam to create a fun and eclectic entertainment experience. The duo formed in 2012, and offers over 24 years of performance experience between the two members.  Compact and adaptable, the Baker’s Basement combines acoustic guitar, dual vocals, and a small percussive kit, allowing them to adapt to nearly any performance environment. The duo has performed on both large stages and the most intimate of environments. Be it a festival, backyard, living room, club, market, event space, restaurant, fundraiser--you name it--the band is ready to bring the music.

The band can provide a sound system for events including all the necessary microphones, cables, and supplemental equipment. The duo can also provide an extra microphone for any announcements or speeches that a guest or host would like to make during a given event.

TBB typically plays shows that include a mixture of original, cover, and instrumental music. By request, the bad can play shows that are purely instrumental. Please send any special requests. We'll do our best to make it happen.
