Bagpiping for any occasion. Scottish Highland Bagpipe. Fell in love with this instrument as a young lad, got taught first in Aberdeen, Scotland, by an American - curiously. Being in America now myself for many years already, I would be pleased to contribute to your event with a special and moving bagpipe performance.
Can also accommodate requests for an extra piper or for accompaniment by snare and bass drummer.
The Scottish - Bavarian bag piper was punctual, professional , pleasant and a polished musician . I and the PYC club highly recommend the Scottish - Bavarian
I hired him for my dads 84th birthday. He was on time, professional, handsome and very nice guy. His performance was outstanding and everyone was surprised and had wonderful time. Highly recommend him! We loved it.
Scottish Bavarian played at our 25th anniversary vow renewal. He was amazing friendly so talented very professional and played exactly what we asked I would recommend him for weddings or any other occasion that would be enhanced by a wonderful piper
We recently used The Scottish Bavarian for our wedding ceremony. He played to escort our bridal party in, played as I walked down the aisle and walked us all out while playing. He was professional, courteous, on time (early actually), came dressed, did an amazing job and left my guests in awe and with goosebumps. It was a pleasure working with him and I highly recommend him if you are looking for an extra special touch for any event!
I booked Helmut to play the pipes at my mother's funeral. He played all of the requested material and sprinkled in some other fitting tunes. He knew exactly when to play and when not to and did a fantastic, professional job.
If you ever need a piper for an event, look no further than The Scottish Bavarian!
I booked the Scottish Bavarian for my mother's funeral and they were fantastic. They sent me a list of at least 20 songs and added more when I mentioned our family was Irish. Played Amazing Grace, Oh Danny Boy and many more. Played before the service, after the service and at the cemetery. They got together in advance to tune their pipes (didn't realize they had to do that) and went over their list of songs in advance. Knew when to stop playing at the cemetery (just before the priest began to speak) and it made the whole day that much more special. It was evident they truly enjoyed performing and I couldn't have asked for more. Was worried they might not make it in time for the cemetery since it was a fair distance away, but they were there just as people were exiting the cars from the procession. Not sure how they did it, but it was fantastic. Hope to use them again for a happier occasion in the future.
Helmut and his marvelous family led 100 reveling foresters through several classic caeleigh dances in the Connecticut woods as the sun set in early summer. The pipes rang shrill and true as he and his daughter kept the dancers on their toes. Just after dark, he transitioned to a victorious march and led the revelers to a gigantic bonfire, ceremoniously lit as the pipes filled the night air. His playing was described by everyone present as "epic."
Helmut came and performed a beautiful rendition of Auld Lang Syne at a formal ceremony for us. He was wonderful. Very professional, very talented. He was great to have at the event. We highly recommend him!
Expect to enjoy melodious Scottish and Irish tunes with The Scottish Bavarian! Helmut was good from start to end. Good with communication and following up, Helmut made our St. Patrick's Day Tunes & Tea event a sure success for our residents. Everyone had nothing but positive comments following the performance and couldn't have been more pleased. He without a doubt made our event a memorable one for our seniors.
Helmut was phenomenal. Friendly, timely, enthusiastic and quite good with his pipes, he embraced our event and raised it to the next level.
We were so pleased with the The Scottish Bavarian! he came and played the pipes at our home in honer of my husbands fathers memorial. He was prompt and even learned to play a song just for the occasion. I would recommend him!
