Opened for Rod Steward in Connecticut ,performed in the musical "Brigadoon", Yearly solo piper for the grand marshal of the New Haven, Ct. St Patrick's Day parade, 24 yrs to date. Guest Piper for the 2017, 2018, 2023 and 2025 Pirates Festival week in the Grand Cayman Islands. In 30 years, many events. I am at your service.

Durant is the perfect guy to have at an event to add some gravitas. Before he plays, he's friendly and will explain about the pipes. He is easy to work with for a plan to make the event special. I loved working with him!!

My family wanted to hire a bagpiper for a memorial/celebration of my recently deceased brother as he was quite proud of our Scottish heritage on my mothers side. I was so fortunate to find Durant McCurley for the occasion. Durant was friendly, informative, professional, and accommodating to our hopes and wishes. The sound of his bagpipes playing Amazing Grace as he made his entrance and the melodies that followed truly made for a memorable day. Thank you, Durant! My family and I are forever grateful.

The Bagpipes are Primortal. An ancient sound that thrills the soul. I love sharing this with people. I have 30 years experience and have performed in many events . Performed in movie with Russel Crow, recorded on a cd for an Irish singer ,played for different cultural weddings and funerals. Opened up for Rod Stewart, The Clancy Bros. and others at Toads Place in New Haven, CT., Lone Piper for the New Haven St. Patrick's Day parade since 1998. guest piper for Pirate Week in the Grand Caymans. Have performed in Scotland, Germany, with a jazz band in New Orleans, cruise ships, one to the Caribbean and one to Alaska. My most memorable was playing at my sons wedding and my daughters wedding. I have performed for weddings in backyards, on an island, at castles, on the beaches, on farms, at mansions and an elopement, divorce parties, a Cats funeral, happy times and sad times. I am at your service
