December 4, 2022Cory was unable to come but she found a replacement and he was wonderful. He arrived on time and welcomed over a hundred folks to my husbands funeral service. I was so busy I never got his name but I do know he had done a gig in Hartford and came up to Weston for the service. I understand the he is a physician!

We can offer you pipers from soloists, mini-bands with pipers and drummers, and entire pipe bands to folk ensembles with guitar, small pipes, and singers. If you need someone within the Celtic music world, we can provide the musician for you or help you to find the right avenue to success. Whatever the vision you have for an event, we love helping dreams come to fruition. We have played in hot air balloons, boats, ski lifts, recording studios, faire and festivals, and packed arenas like the TD Garden and Edinburgh Castle.
Bagpiper Coreyanne Armstrong is based in Connecticut, she was the resident piper and whistle player for Hawaii's premier Celtic band, the Doolin Rakes. Currently she plays with The Rogues and is featured in groups and as a soloist at Renaissance Faires across the country (Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and Louisiana.)
We can perform on stage with sound equipment or wander through the venue unplugged. We have different volume levels depending on the type of bagpipes we bring to the event.
TECHNICAL BAGPIPE TUNING ISSUES: YES - we can play with other instruments. We have special parts for the bagpipe to play in concert A and concert B flat so we can attempt to adjust to your needs. NO - not every tune is possible on the bagpipes, but if it can be done, we can do it.

Anything you've heard someone play on a bagpipe, one of us probably plays --
NOTABLE EXCEPTIONS - a lot of what people hear on movie soundtracks are UILLEANN pipes. These are Irish bagpipes, and not what we play. They have a 2-1/2 octave range and more notes possible within each octave than we have. This is not to say that the tunes can't be adapted to Highland pipes, but NOT EVERY Uilleann pipe tune translates well to Highland Pipes.
We require no equipment or setup time, unless other ensembles are discussed.
